Guest Tour - San Diego
City Excursion
Our tour begins with a
scenic drive through San Dan
for a fun & informative adventure in one of America's finest cities.
Near the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park exists a little-known but
very special Victorian Village known as Heritage Park. The seven
structures, which are the focal point of the grounds, were constructed
between 1887 and 1896 and have maintained their beauty and intrigue over
the years.
You will be treated to a docent-led tour of the park, with ample free time
to explore the Country Craftsman located inside the Burton House. In
addition to the over 100 artisans displaying their wares in this historic
structure, a four-walled mural depicting San Diego at the turn of the
century is always an attention grabber.
You will enjoy a delicious three-course lunch then continuing to the
enchanting Balboa Park, recognized as San Diego’s cultural heart, and home
to many of the city’s most acclaimed museums. The scenic backdrop to the
museums is the Park itself, with incredible landscaping and architecture.
A drive through the grounds will familiarize participants with the
available activities and locations for them to enjoy some of the most
beautiful gardens and open space in Southern California.

Kitesurf
Lessons
Kitesurfing is a
new and exciting water sport for the new millennium. The idea
behind kitesurfing is very simple. A kitesurfer stands on a board with
foot straps or bindings and use the power of a large controllable kite to
propel them and the board across the water.
Our lessons will take place in Coronado Bay.
INCLUDES:
- 5 hour lesson (2.5 on
land + 2.5 on the water)
- All Equipment
- Transportation to and
from the Hotel
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- Safely rig, launch,
fly, land and de-rig a kite (all hands on and tons of fun).
- Interpret wind
direction, speed and form a comprehensive understanding of the power
zone.
- Learn what equipment
will be appropriate for you.
- Understand what areas
are appropriate, and not appropriate to practice honing your skills.
- Bodyskirf across our
exclusive bay from Coronado to Chula Vista! We follow you closely on a
jet ski, as you are pulled across the bay by an inflatable four-line
kite. The jet ski allows us to be right behind you, in order to provide
tips and answer any questions you might have. When it is time to land
your kite, you simply release your kite and enjoy a jet ski ride back up
wind to Coronado.
- Master upwind
bodyskirfing, self rescue, and water re-launching your kite. Learn water
starting, board control, and basic jibe techniques.
